Senior Supervisor, Manufacturing and Operations is an integral part of a team of professionals who get things done, enjoy working together and are committed to growing with this fast-moving company.

The Senior Supervisor manages entry - level and intermediate - level production employees, sets day-to-day goals and fosters teamwork with all levels of the organization and external customers.

The Senior Supervisor manages cell productivity and guides scheduling, sequencing of work and production innovation to optimize production for multiple cells or a complex cell.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all quality related items are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.

  • Guide cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness.

  • Plan and execute scheduling for to meet production schedules.

  • Guide the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery to optimize productivity.

  • Supervise activities for materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.

  • Manage cell performance and productivity to maximize productivity.

  • Guide production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities.

  • Interface with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.

  • Responsible for all, or a major portion of, processing operations in the manufacturing environment.

  • Oversee production operations (shop floor management, workforce management and flow disruption management), maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling and personnel.

  • Manage and supervise the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function.

  • Perform professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging proficiency in MS Office applications specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience using SAP

  • Demonstrated experience and consistent track record in team leadership roles

  • Experience leveraging outstanding written and verbal communication skills to drive business results

  • Aerospace/aviation experience
