Seeking:

A seasoned Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of hands on experience in this field.

Experience with COTS equipment a must and a full understanding of electrical circuits from analog through digital are required.

Main function will be to maintain production floor test equipment, resolve design issues, update drawings and schematics as necessary and maintain records of compliance.

Must be able to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics and work with Auto-Cad and Visio software.

Function Description:

Applies scientific principles to innovate, design, develop, and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools, and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements, and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions.

Ensures novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools.

Discipline Description:

Measures and analyzes test equipment and processes to ensure quality.

Ensures systems perform according to necessary specifications.

Confirms operations according to necessary regulations to ensure production quality.

Maintains validation standards and testing protocols.

Prepares equipment for testing.

Documents test results and maintains records for later analysis.

Coordinates with other departments who will be affected by testing.

Responsibilities:

Ensures that systems run according to necessary specifications on small to medium platforms/projects/systems.

Measures and analyzes test equipment and processes to ensure quality standard are met on small to medium platforms/projects/systems.

Confirms operations according to necessary regulations to ensure production quality on small to medium platforms/projects/systems.

Documents test results and maintains records for later analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field and 3 years of relevant experience.  In the absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
