This role is responsible for working with the IMS Airports Systems Division as the Manager of the Airports System Delivery group.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the on-site delivery of the IMS Airports product line of systems. 

  • Overall management of the system delivery engineers – Scheduling of resources / assignment of tasks and priorities / technical oversight / performance evaluations / goal setting.

  • Provide LOE (Level of Effort) and BOE (Basis of Estimate) details in order to support system installation / configuration requests for proposals and internal costing. 

  • Work in conjunction with various internal system support teams / project management / account management / sales and other stakeholders to ensure on-time / quality system delivery.

  • Development and implementation of process improvement and efficiencies in system deployment to ensure cost competitiveness.

  • Development / implementation and on-going support of technical training plan for new and existing staff.

  • Attend regular sales/business unit meetings, as appropriate.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience of technical solution development within IT solutions to the airport / air transport / ground handling industries.

  • Possess a clear understanding of airport IT processes such as passenger check-in, Flight Information, baggage handling / Common Use technology.

  • Possess a clear understanding of key performance indicators, both financial and otherwise.

  • Experience and proven ability to manage a technical staff.

  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to travel throughout North America and internationally on occasion

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR  an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a SIDA/ CATSA -level security clearance for North American Airports.
