Senior Software Engineer - Flight Simulators

Role Overview
This position is for a Software Engineering professional responsible for engineering, administration, support, and technical guidance of a virtualized environment for Flight Simulators.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage virtual environment
• Windows Server and Client Administration
• Scripting / Automation for System Administration (e.g. powershell, bash, etc)
• Computer System and Network Design
• Technical Writing skills
• Critical thinking/troubleshooting

Basic Qualifications:

• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required. 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.  Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Virtualization (VMware vSphere, ESXi, Horizon)
• Operating System Deployments/patching
• Automated Build Tools
• Familiar with DevSecOps and Agile process tools
• Linux Administration
• Network Hardware configuration
• Cybersecurity (OS hardening, static code analysis
• Programming, c/c++
• Hardware/Software interface programming
