We are currently looking for a strong Senior Strategy Analyst in our Mechanical Systems Oakville, Ontario, Canada facility.

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify operational / procedural gaps and make recommendations to LGOPs leadership team and local SIOP leads

  • Conduct research, provide data aiding in strategic planning and decision making that focus on improving operational key performance indicators

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate the insights from findings to management and relevant stakeholders

  • Required to have strong critical thinking abilities to draw sound conclusions from information and various data sources at your disposal

  • Solving problems to improve operational effectiveness by forging consensus and coach/develop SIOP local teams essential knowledge

  • Ability to plan and facilitate productive meetings that define clear actionable next steps to improve operations effectiveness

  • Development and ongoing maintenance of standard work

  • Support the development of presentation material as needed for customers and leadership

  • Support initiatives as identified by management

  • Maintain solid working relationships with all stakeholders within the organization, including production, ME, quality, materials, program management  and MRB Engineering

  • Identify operational risks and provide necessary recommendations to mitigate identified risks

  • Assist in providing escalation support when necessary

  • Provide LG inventory & SIOP optimization strategy using SIOP strategies across all LG sites

  • Provide on-time delivery of weekly, monthly LG and corporate reporting

  • Provide accurate and concise business plans to aid in strategic planning an decision making

  • Establish action plans to resolve gaps & oversee execution of those action plans

  • Deploy new productivity technology tools/software to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with Collins Aerospace SIOP and Inventory process

  • Proficient in SAP MRP system and HFM financial tool

  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft suite

  • Proficiency in VBA, Tableau, Nintex programming development are asset

  • Previous business analytics and business process optimization are asset
