Position will be located in Moorestown, New Jersey (1259 N Church St #1, Moorestown, NJ 08057). This position is for a Seasoned Quality Engineering professional. Works as an individual contributor to achieve objectives that have a significant impact on site quality health. Role will function as a site quality focal for the Moorestown, NJ facility. May manage Quality Engineering processes and/or projects. Uses experience and knowledge to influence the development, modification, application, and maintenance, or quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols. 

This is an onsite position and will require the employee to be at the facility

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Role directly reports to the off-site regional Quality Engineering Manager.  Indirect reporting relationship directly to site operations manager.

  • Develops proactive quality initiative strategies and drives their implementation. 

  • Responsible for compiling and leading the site’s recurring Management Review and maintaining third-party QMS certification (e.g. ISO 9001).

  • Lead for audit preparation and support, including facilitation of corrective actions for identified findings. Will lead all activities for audits and resolutions.

  • Responsible for development of new inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance in manufacturing. Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols.

  • Analyzes and makes recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities, non-compliances, and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes. 

  • Utilizes PPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify and make recommendations for managing risk in current product production. 

  • Lead for ZDP (Zero Defect Plan) deployment for identified products. 

  • Lead for site metrics and data trending, including identification of opportunities and leading cross-functional teams for quality-focused site improvements.  

  • Manages processes to ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management

  • Ensures that projects and process control documentation (i.e. QMS) are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.  

  • Performs escape management procedures and leads quality containment efforts for known non-conformances or suspect non-conformances. 

  • Lead for onsite quality-focused mentoring and will function as site subject matter expert in quality engineering and methodologies

  • Responsible for Program (BEST team) and Product Quality Engineering (current product in manufacturing) support, as applicable product by product.  

  • May support Receiving Inspection and Supply Chain Quality functions as needed.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required

  • Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

  • Root Cause experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant ASQ certification and/or engineering degree preferred.

  • Manufacturing experience

  • ACE/Six Sigma Certification
