This position manages the execution of Quality Assurance operational plans. May lead a team of primarily intermediate to experienced Quality Assurance professionals or a team responsible for Quality Assurance for a smaller organization. Sets objectives and guides team on the achievement of short-term Quality Assurance goals. Manages the implementation of Quality Assurance plans and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides Quality leadership and manages the daily activities of the functional Quality group assigned.
  • Provides guidance on QMS as well as product compliance matters.
  • Manages production process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Manages plans, guidelines, policies and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets.
  • Manages quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience in Quality, Operations or a technical field
  • Familiarity with inspection techniques and metrology processes preferred
  • ISO/AS Auditor certification preferred
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement (CI) experience preferred
