Inspector II-4th Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday with 4-hour bonus and shift differential)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of machined product to ensure compliance to design data.
  • Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections for machined parts.
  • Validate the acceptability of product.
  • Interact with Machine Shop and Operations areas about inspection results.

Experience & Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Inspection or machining experience.
  • Occasionally have to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Knowledge of inspection methods (layout, CMM, etc.) and be proficient in performing all required gaging and visual inspections.
  • Knowledge and capability of interpreting engineering drawings as well as applicable specifications.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) and work in a team environment.

Education & Certifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
