Training Coordinator responsibilities include communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. Training Coordinators are responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting all training programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain AS9100 compliant training records for the company.

  • Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.

  • Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.

  • Continuously seek to improve the training program through industry benchmarking. Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.

  • Recruit and train new trainers, delegate training tasks to new trainers and evaluate performance.

  • Market company training opportunities to employees and provide information on benefits to encourage participation.

  • Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.

  • Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities and manage the budget set for training.

  • Research curriculum actively and remain up-to-date on developments within the industry and competitors

  • Measure employee's retention by issuing training assessments on course materials

  • Create printed and instructional materials to be used in training

  • Schedule and conduct meetings with management to proactively identify topics to be address or areas in need of additional instruction

  • Assist in planning, creating and implementing each year's training courses and materials for each department

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2 – 4 years experience in Training & Development.

  • Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in word processing and presentation software

  • Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors, personal computers and videography equipment

  • Knowledge about training methods and techniques

  • Exceptional organization skills, leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work with a team and have attention to detail

  • Knowledgeable about learning management systems, instructional design and e-learning platforms

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data

  • Strong background in customer service or project management.

  • Capacity to work with urgent deadlines, changing priorities and manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously.

  • Possess a high level of organization skills, with a strong focus on results and attention to detail.

  • Effective teamwork.

  • Ability to work independently, think critically and provide proactive solutions with limited to no supervision.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, O365 suite, Adobe Captivate, and Adobe Premier Pro.
