The Product Line Manager’s (PLM) primary responsibility is to be the interface from the PMO to Operations.  The PLM works cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Production Planning, and Engineering (Manufacturing, Production and Quality) to develop & execute projects in support of manufacturing improvements.  The PLM supports analysis of information and data to determine root cause and corrective action of issues impacting operations and quality of the Product Line.  This role coordinates with business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of products in alignment to factory capacity and manufacturing build plan, while effectively arbitrating and resolving issues associated with flow inhibitors.  The PLM support development of internal strategic plans related to product roadmap and new technology insertion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead for the Product Line, providing ongoing program management support to the product line to ensure successful product delivery with high quality

  • Lead mitigation of product risks & flow inhibitors, working with operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain

  • Lead corrective actions to improve production cells uptime, efficiency, and quality

  • Lead cross functional teams to execute projects to address raw material obsolescence

  • Coordinate with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to plan New Product Introduction (NPI) bringing new technology to production floor

  • Serve as the Operations Interface to the Program Management Office (PMO)

  • Build strong relationships with internal customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Program Management or Project Management role required

  • Must have demonstrated the ability to strategically organize and complete projects, tasks and business objectives, independently

  • Capable of leading and driving issues/actions through completion

  • Experienced in process improvements

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate verbally and written at all levels, internally and externally.

  • Experienced in leading cross functional teams, with strong interpersonal skills and team attitude, with an ability to motivate

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong computer skills, (SAP, MS Project/Office and Visual Manufacturing)
