Collins Aerospace is looking for a Program Manager, IPT to serve as the face of the organization to customers. You will manage geographic areas, business segments, product groups, or large programs. You will also oversee overall operational performance and success. In addition, you will be responsible for the accountability of the workforce in organizational operations and customer projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct all program phases from inception through completion.
  • Interface with customers for project specifications to ensure successful completion.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
  • Establish cost focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets.
  • Coordinate responses to customer action items.
  • Supervise the appropriate use of all resources allocated to the program to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Participate in and lead the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts for programs
  • Ensure legal compliance to protect the organization's interests

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
  • Deep knowledge and a highly developed technical expertise in Program Management
  • Experience leading medium-sized programs.
  • Experience developing program plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Experience with strategic planning, creating solutions for program problems, contract negotiations, and manages important vendors.
  • ERP experience
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement
  • Experience communicating and making presentations to internal & external leadership
  • Experience creating MS PowerPoint presentations
  • Able to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally (when circumstances permit)

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP experience
  • Aerospace Industry experience
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or ACE
  • PMI certification
