Collins Aerospace is looking for a MilitaryPricing Analyst, New Business Pricing who will be responsible for working within the Aerostructures Business and across the Finance teams to develop business cases, cash flow and P&L assessments for new business ventures and other ad hoc projects. You will primarily coordinate multi-functional departmental information into financial business cases for military proposals. In addition, you will be one the Military Programs Pricing Analyst’s responsible for all aspects of the proposal process as it relates to Finance, including but not limited to, pricing (non-recurring and recurring), cost analysis including OH rates, TINA certs, presentation to Senior Leadership and audit support.

Position is currently working remotely, may need to work on site when circumstances permit.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplined teams to develop competitive, high quality and timely business cases for the Aerostructures Military portfolio.
  • Coordination and documentation of all supporting data and assumptions, revision control, creation of proposal packages and pricing data for review, approval, and submission.
  • Provide audit support for DCAA/DCMA and post award audits
  • Subject matter expert on CAS, FAR/DFAR, DCAA/DCMA audits, TINA, government compliance as it relates to proposals
  • Help build business models and programs that achieve Aerostructures business goals, including OEM and aftermarket pricing, revenue and cost elements.
  • Work with Business Development and Program Management teams to understand and manage the ongoing commercial relationships with each OEM including reporting, analysis, contract re-negotiations and business growth strategies.
  • Drive changes to processes and develop standard work across the organization.
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture.
  • Ensure internal financial controls environment is established and in compliance with US GAAP, SOX and all international legal and statutory requirements.
  • Participate in business development strategy meetings and provide financial input
  • Work with cost estimating to assess and consolidate cost estimates in the required format
  • Develop cash flow analysis for new business opportunities
  • Communicate new business venture financial analysis outputs to senior management
  • Support monthly/quarterly management reporting packages for use in long range planning
  • Provide continuous improvement for the pricing function, manage turn-backs, and standard work revisions

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Experience manipulating large data sets
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, US GAAP principles and interpreting commercial contract language.
  • Experience working with Continuous Improvement tools
  • Strong project management skills and able to effectively plan and prioritize multiple tasks to meet due dates and support the enterprise
  • Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
  • MS Excel & PowerPoint experience: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and creating PowerPoint presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • ERP knowledge: SAP, HFM, BW or Power BI
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or ACE
  • Aerospace experience
  • Large corporation experience
  • Manufacturing Company experience
  • Prior pricing, Gov’t Accounting, contracting or FP&A experience
