Collins Aerospace is looking for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis(FP&A) professional. This person will execute financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans. They will be responsible for developing analysis and projections and conducting small projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyzes financial statements and ERP transactions and prepares reports on findings to present recommendations to management
  • Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, operations, supply chain, programs, engineering and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes
  • Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies
  • Conducts small-scale projects, completing ad hoc analysis with minimal supervision
  • Audits financial practices to ensure accuracy and company compliance.
  • Works within various functional and financial teams to solve complex business issues

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
  • Background in financial analysis, planning, budgeting or accounting
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Intermediate excel skills, including pivot tables, V-lookups, If-Statements
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills along with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Identify and analyze problems; communicate recommendations effectively to multiple levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience demonstrating linkage between business transactions and financial statements
  • Experience preparing and analyzing Financial Statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
  • Experience analyzing cost or cost flows
  • Working experience with SAP or Hyperion (HFM) Planning
  • Working experience with Tableau, PowerBI, PowerPivot, Get and Transform (PowerQuery)
  • Aerospace or Manufacturing background
