Role Overview
In this position, you will be a key contributor in the development of financial forecasts, provide in-depth financial results analysis to Senior Leadership and play a key role in ensuring the financial success of the central Collins organization. Being a part of the central finance team provides the opportunity to interact with all levels throughout the organization and offers a unique view of Collins Aerospace as you collaborate with key stakeholders from the business units to implement and drive financial processes.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and report financial forecasts that support short and long-term financial goals and business decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to Collins leadership for monthly/quarterly/yearly financial results.
  • Provide detailed analysis on risks and opportunities and deliver thoughtful recommendations.
  • Monitor financial practices to ensure they are conducted accurately and are compliant with regulations, laws and standards.
  • Implement financial processes that maximize the quality of financial forecasting and reporting.
  • Perform adhoc analysis for proposed operating changes and strategic projects.

Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills along with the ability to manage multiple projects are critical.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and strong commitment to deadlines.
  • High ability to prioritize responsibilities and objectives.
  • Excellent people-management & development skills.
  • Strong systems (SAP/HFM) and PC skills (Excel, Power point)

Education:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience.  In the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
