Position overview
The Security Programs Intern will partner with the Security Programs Director to advance security programs globally. The role will help develop security policy, design program frameworks, partner with other functional groups to develop strategic program plans, and execute the strategy globally. This position will also work to research, develop, and deploy security training material to the Collins Aerospace workforce. This role will offer the incumbent career development & experience in a number of areas, including: strategy development & deployment, business acumen, functional organizational structures & interaction, program management, and training development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Program/process development and coordination of various security programs
    • Travel Security
    • Workplace Violence
    • Facility Risk Management
    • Guard Force Management
    • Incident Reporting
    • Investigations
    • Security Training
  • Support new initiatives, projects and maintenance of security operating reports and metrics.
  • Provide professional support and proactive customer service to coworkers, internal customers and external customers on a daily basis.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
