Customer Quality Managers (CQM) work with Customers, Life Cycle Value Stream Managers (LCVSM), Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals. The CQM’s are the liaison between products and customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the customer expectations and needs.  Driving that message to internal teams and stakeholders.

  • Support Customer Satisfaction improvements. Work with internal teams to drive initiatives to improve Customer Satisfaction. 

  • Report internally to leadership. Clearly show current performance, what actions are being taken to improve performance and forecasted performance.

  • Avionics customer support representative.  Sit on key leadership staff meetings to provide support and communicate status.

  • Lead external customer meetings and reviews. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to lead customer meetings and report outs.


  • Communication skills: Able to effectively communicate to the customer and internal leadership.

  • Presentation skills: Able to clearly capture overall performance and action plans.

  • Big Picture: Think past individual issues and drive customer improvement plans.

  • Urgency: Holds teams accountable for actions to drive improvements in a timely fashion.

  • Coordination: Look ahead to ensure teams are well prepared for customer reviews.

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. US Citizenship or Permanent Residence required,. Candidate must have customer interface experience in a quality organization. Quality experience.
