The JADC2 Experimentation and Demonstration IPT is looking for a Sr. Value Stream Manager (VSL) to support the pursuit of multiple experimentation and demonstration opportunities with all four US Department of Defense services as well as joint and coalition experimentation efforts. Our team is a newly formed organization responsible for integrating and demonstrating Collins and industry partner technologies in large scale exercises that fulfill JADC2 mission objectives. We take capabilities from across Collins Mission Systems to develop a demonstration kit and work with the services to participate in demonstration activities to validate new and emerging technologies and concepts of operation. This role will lead a multi-disciplinary team and be focused on capturing key customer needs and identifying the best opportunities to demonstrate solutions to sensor to shooter challenges. In this role the VSL will be responsible for a complicated set of internal and external priorities and be relied upon to guide the interdisciplinary integrated product team (IPT) both strategically and tactically in this environment. How we execute is as important as what we execute and developing trusted relationships both internally and externally will be critical to success. 

This position is primarily located in Cedar Rapids, IA, however other locations will be considered for the right candidate.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advance degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.  Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements

  • Have demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple pursuit and order capture or large scale demonstration efforts simultaneously

  • Have demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams

  • Have demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in remote locations and time zones

  • Have demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with US DOD, coalition nation and industry customers and partners

  • Demonstrated knowledge of CJADC2 service level capability needs and associated technologies

  • Be able to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess or have the ability to possess a clearance up to the TS/SCI level 

  • Have lead or had a key role on a large scale, multi-technology demonstration or experimentation

  • Have experience with products and systems in the following areas: communications, datalinks, position navigation and timing (PNT), cyber security/resiliency, sensors (EO, IR, Radar, EW), Autonomy and AI/Machine learning, datalink processing gateways, multi-level security (MLS), open standards/architectures, digital engineering concepts such as model bases systems engineering and DevSecOps,

  • Have experience with Collins Aerospace management processes and tools
