Engineering Technician (Testing) - Advanced Technology

Looking for innovators, creative thinkers, and problem solvers. In the Mission Systems Advanced Technology Labs, we take innovative ideas and bring them to life. You can be a part of a team that helps develop revolutionary, industry leading technology.  Our team is looking for a motivated, confident, and passionate technician to help develop the next generation of communication and aviation electronic solutions.  This unique position working in our MICRO-electronics lab supports internal and external customer funded programs.  In addition to working on industry leading technology you would be a key member of the team that develops new processes, test and analyzes results and creates advanced parts in the MICRO-electronics lab.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Successful applicant must be able to assist the engineering research and technology development effort in the areas of plating, wet etching, dicing, bonding, laminating, sputtering and general micro-fab processes. 

  • Successful candidate must be able to work independently, take initiative, and be able to provide innovative and creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Applicant must be able to work well with a structured schedule and meeting time commitments.

  • Successful applicant must be able to work effectively managing multiple tasks, process steps and understand the flow of work. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card)

  • Mechanical ability- use of manual hand tools and power tools

  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of photolithography and electroplating (preferred)

  • Knowledge of chemical processing, background in using chemical combinations and storage. (preferred)

  • Efficient at Microsoft office- excel, power point, word (preferred)
