Role Overview
This position is for a Senior Administrative Support assistant who is under direct supervision. Uses standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Responsible for responding to basic to fairly complex phone and email inquiries and applies basic skills in the execution of existing procedures. Responsible for data entry and record maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works under direct supervision to perform clerical activities.
  • Responds to basic to fairly complex email and phone inquiries.
  • Prepares outgoing mail and processes classified or sensitive mail in accordance with security regulations.
  • Gathers, verifies and processes documentation.
  • Performs data entry and maintains records.
  • Assists in generating reports for management.
  • Acts as office manager with oversight of records management.
  • May perform building maintenance activities or other custodial services.
  • Performs data entry and other normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files, interviewing callers and making proper referrals, arranging meetings and conferences and receiving, referring or answering mail.
  • Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage and answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor's assignment.
  • May provide executive assistant services as a direct assistant to Senior Executives and General Managers. This includes working independently on special assignments, managing the Executive's schedule, processing and handling of confidential documents and other administrative duties.

Basic Qualifications

  • This position requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.  In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient experience with Google Scheduling and Outlook
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
