Role Overview


This position supervises entry or intermediate level employees or team leaders of support employees across functions, with responsibility for program execution. Ensures adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets. Prepares progress reports and identifies and recommends solutions to potential problems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations of 4 Maintenance Centers located across Canada.
  • Work with centers in support of meeting revenue and margin goals.
  • Review and monitor overhead budget to ensure centers stay on track.
  • Ensure centers are executing work efficiently, meeting schedule and budget requirements.
  • Focus on building relationships with existing customers and increase current level of business, seeking new opportunities in Canada
  • Be open and transparent, communicative and collaborative.
  • Set objectives and measure achievement regularly.
  • Develop plans within team for personnel development.
  • Assist in resolving personnel issues.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.In the absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Seven or more years of experience in the Aviation industry, specifically commercial air transport and aircraft communications, and/or airport operations.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Experience with LMR and Air-to-Ground Radio communications.
  • Experience with service based models.
  • Experience working across organizational structures.
