Electrical Engineer will be exposed to design, development, analysis, assembly, test, and implementation of various technologies related to Power & Control Systems. A successful candidate is someone who has a desire and a hunger to learn accompanied with a strong work ethic. This candidate should be able to see the “big picture,” realizing that engineering is not simply developing a subcomponent but that there are interfaces within the system and with the real world that must be attended to.  May evaluate and analyze various embedded and digital products to determine their cost-effectiveness and efficiency. May evaluate field installations and recommend and perform design modifications to eliminate malfunctions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes equipment and conducts experimental tests to establish operating data.
  • Performs analysis, design, test of electronic products or systems to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of engineering processes.
  • Support production support issues (yield, production returns, field return) – evaluate failures, & trends, propose solutions.
  • Help resolves day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption.
  • Troubleshoots electrical device problems to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Research and tests electrical components, equipment and systems
  • Possibility to travel to our location in Santa Isabel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in design tools (AutoCad, Cadence, etc.)
  • Familiarity with analog and digital interfaces, electronic analysis techniques and laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzes, and other related test equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, circuit card, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Ability to review production data and identify trends in manufacturing failures
  • Ability to troubleshoot potential causes of production failures and devise a solution to prevent repeat issues in the future
  • Ability to perform a root cause analysis (e.g. fault tree, 5 Why, fishbone)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques
  • Ability to provide PRE manufacturing facility with onsite engineering support as needed (e.g. troubleshooting, EC's)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience OR 
  • In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required 
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
