Our Employee Resources Groups (“ERGs”) bring together highly engaged people with similarities and affinities to help them fulfill their personal and professional potential. With social, networking and team-building events, ERG members are introduced to colleagues from all functional groups, building both interdepartmental connections and friendships.

Employee Scholar Program
The Employee Scholar Program encourages employees to develop new skills and engage in lifelong learning. The company covers eligible expenses up to $25,000 per year and up to 3 hours a week of PTO to study. Eligible employees are welcome to earn degrees in any field of study at any Collins Aerospace-approved educational institution.

With the competing demands of career and family, keeping traditional work hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. has become increasingly difficult to manage. We help accommodate the schedules of life outside of the office through our flexible program, which offers employees flexible work hours (at the discretion of their supervisors).

Beginning your first year, you’ll have 15 paid vacation days, and you’ll accrue more time off the longer you stay with us. Five additional vacation days can be purchased each year, if needed. We also allow for five personal days and 10 paid sick days a year.

At Collins Aerospace, new parents — moms and dads — can relax knowing we want them to have time away from work to bond with new children. Birth mothers and adoptive parents can take up to 12 weeks paid time off. Spouse and domestic partners of birth mothers can take up to 4 weeks paid time off. We provide extended family leave because it’s the right thing to do.
We consider wellness care for the mind, body and wallet. The Good Health Incentives Program rewards employees for being healthy and onsite Medical & Fitness Centers are available at certain locations.
